A short Service of Remembrance will be held on Sunday 14th November at the Memorial Park, Bridge of Allan at 2pm.
All are invited to pay our respects for lives lost in armed conflict, by acknowledging the sacrifice of our armed forces personnel, and our hope for a better future.
Bridge of Allan Community Council and other local groups will be laying wreaths. 11th Bridge of Allan Scout Group will be walking from the Parish Church to Memorial Park, down Keir St as a Remembrance Parade. The group will be leaving the church at 1.45pm to arrive at the park for 2pm. There will be some short lived road closures in place in the immediate vicinity to allow the walk to be done safely.
There are no mandatory Covid restrictions at this event, however we recommend mask wearing and taking care with personal space.
I sincerely hope the idiots who are protesting against vaccination will not be allowed to use the Memorial Park on Remembrance Sunday.
Not that they should have been allowed in the first place.
