The Commnuinty Council are made aware of significant planning applications affecting the area and we endeavour to share this information with residents. The planning system can appear daunting and confusing so we are here to help you make your views heard.
Our stance is to consider the application with reference to our Community Action Plan and to encourage residents to make their views known formally via the planning system or by taking part in public consultations.
Making an objection
The CC will routinely object to any development seeking to build on greenbelt land. We will also ensure that proposals are in keeping with Conservation Area Character Appraisal.
