I would like to express my disappointment that a vote of thanks was not given during the public meeting, following the AGM, to Mike Watson for his long service as chairperson.
Mike has been involved in the community since he moved here, with his wife Carol, in 1971 when he developed the new Allan Centre.
I hope that public acknowledgement of his dedication to the Community Council will be given at your next CC meeting and included in the minutes.
Kind regards Sheila E McGregor.
PS. I worked with Mike, in the early 70’s, in the Allan Centre and I have been a resident in the village for many years.
