All are welcome to join us on Tuesday 18th April 7.30pm in the Allan Center GP room.
In the initial community council election procedure all existing members would have stepped down on the 14th April.
However this was changed at short notice so we have be finalising our room booking and agenda before announcing the details.
This month we will be talking about:
100 year anniversary of the War Memorial – We are wondering how best to mark this? Sharing old photos, what the memorial means to your family? something in person? marking it at the Rememberance service in November? – open to ideas
Community Action Plan – reflecting on achievements
Hawes Park – Improvements for parking
Local Place Plan
Coronation Event
Planning
Residents voice
Reports from our position holders – Chair, Secretary, Treasurer

I grew up in Bridge of Allan and although I now live in Alloa, I continue to come to shops and other services in the village. However, I am also disabled ( using a rollator) and I’m deeply disappointed by the very few disabled parking spots. One of those, on Henderson Street, is just before a roundabout and difficult to get into. An added complication is that often those without a badge will park in the few disable spots there are. I suspect I am one of many disabled people who feel neglected and unwanted when participation in the life of the village is seriously restricted by the lack of support for disabled people.
