Our next meeting is to be held on Tuesday 17th May at 7.30 on the online platform Zoom. Find the agenda with meeting joining details here. All are welcome to attend.
We will be discussing: The Police Report, Community Led Tourism, Christmas Lights, Tennis Courts, The Common Good Fund, Recruitment, Face to face meetings, Planning and reports from our Chair, Secretary and Treasurer and Residents Voice where you can make your comments or questions.
Can the community council not take some action to tidy up the village appearance – Heris fencing everywhere you look – Nicks / The Royal Hotel / Police Station site / site for new Care Home ? why can the council not ask that these sites to be tidied up with proper hoarding with a decent specification and painted – there seems no be no action or thought to tidy up these sites .
The hoarding could be used to display what is intended for the site when work should start programme for the work etc to inform locals and visitors .
The Tennis Courts are another eye sore makes the village look run down and we have no care to encourage sport for young people I know this issue has been going on for years with no way forward – why ?
All of these sites are a disgrace to the village the way they are being left for years / months without being improved /developed
What is happening surely the Bridge of Allan Community Council can apply pressure set a short time scale to get all these sites tidied up I am sure a lot of locals are asking the same question .
Look at the revenue the council are missing out on for the undeveloped sites .
Please give me some good news and action ASAP
Thanks
