Come Join Us

People have many different reasons for volunteering.

Some people volunteer as a means of giving back to the community they live in.  Others have skills or knowledge which they know could be put to valuable use in a volunteer context.

Many people simply want to do something different and treat volunteering as a chance to try their hand at something new.  Not only does volunteering keep them active, it brings them into contact with people from all walks of life, people they might not otherwise meet.  Volunteering can add to existing skills which transfer into the workplace.

What all volunteers share, however, is the knowledge that what they choose to give in time and effort, be it 5 minutes or 5 hours, helps contribute to making the world around them a better place to live.

Everyone has something they can give to the community.  What is it that you can give?

Update October 202: We are looking for two new members to join the Community Council.  You can put yourself forward if you live in the Bridge of Allan area, are over 16, and are on the electoral register.  To nominate yourself you should complete this Co-option Nomination form and return it to contact@ccbridgeofallan.org.uk by October 27th to allow us to make arrangments to vote on co-option in the November meeting.  The full process for co-opting members is laid out in this document.

To talk to us about coming aboard, please contact us at:contact@ccbridgeofallan.org.uk
