Coronation Tree Planting

The Friends of Bridge of Allan invite all to attend a tree planting to commemorate the Coronation of King Charles III.

The ceremony will be performed by Provost Douglas Dodds on Monday 8 May at 11am at the Triangle park at the junction of Keir Street and Westerton Drive.

A new sign will also be unveiled to rename the ‘Triangle’ as The Royal Garden.

We hope you will be able to attend to mark this historical occasion and look forward to seeing you there.
UCP – Tree Planting

UCP – Tree Planting

As part of their commitment to help the environment United Closures and Plastics, Steuart Road, Bridge of Allan intend to plant trees in what used to be the football field next to their staff car park.   (It can also be accessed from the bottom of Inverallan Drive.)

The dates are as follows:-

  • Friday 20th March from 1pm
  • Saturday 21st March from 10am.

Apparently the heavy work will already have been done by a horticultural company.

Friends of Bridge of Allan are going to be assisting with the works and would welcome any and all assistance from volunteers if you have a bit of time to spare. Please contact contact@friendsofbridgeofallan.co.uk if you’d like to assist.
