Stirling Council have been experiencing a large number of complaints from members of the public and our community councils in relation to overgrown vegetation. Most are now becoming major safety issues restricting widths of footways, encroaching carriageways and even overhanging branches are at the point of smashing bus windows.
Stirling Council are endeavouring to engage with their communities to encourage the public about cutting back the vegetation that belongs to them. They have attached a useful diagram giving guidance to how much vegetation needs to be trimmed by.
If we had our own dedicated team of road sweepers armed with a brush ,shovel and a “cleek” under the direction of yourselves there would be no problem and no need for the exceeive use of chemicals. If you had control of most of the resources the people of Bridge of Allan we would have a better town. Similarly with EG grass cutting. No one I know thinks it OK to cut grass and leave cuutings as an unsightlly mess.
