Walk to School Week
From the 21st to 25th May Bridge of Allan Primary School will be participating in Walk to School Week to promote happier minds and healthy bodies,fewer cars at the school gates, improved air quality and extra time with friends and family.

Libraries and Archives Strategy Survey
Stirling Council Libraries and Archives have a survey running from Tuesday 8th – Friday 25th May. They are drafting a new Strategy to take the service forward for the next five years.
Friends of Bridge of Allan Plant Sale
Friends of Bridge of Allan are holding their annual fundraising plant sale this Saturday 19th May, 10am at the Parish Church.
Elementary Food Hygiene Course
Stirling Council are running a REHIS Elementary Food Hygiene course on Sunday 10th June 2018, 9.30am–5pm at Cowie Community Centre, Cowie, FK7 7BL (Full details on the attached poster).

Parking Survey Report
As you may be aware, we have recently undertaken a parking survey of the main shopping areas within Bridge of Allan. We are now in a position to share the result of the survey with you together with our conclusions and recommendations.

Stirling Council is currently reviewing boundaries of some Community
Councils. Bridge of Allan Community Council are one of the areas affected. More info attached.
The Vote Centenary Small Grant Scheme
For awareness the Vote Centenary Small Grant Scheme, to support activities to celebrate the centenary of the passing of the Representation of the People Act 1918 which extended the vote to some women in the United Kingdom for the first time, is now open for applications – deadline is 11th May 2018.
