Dunblane Area Maps Update – give your comments

The Dunblane Green Travel Map originated from a widely consulted community project in 2010. This was funded by the Climate Challenge Fund and were updated in 2016 by popular request. Supplies of that edition are now running out and new trails and road infrastructure changes need to be included.

‘Smarter Choices: Smarter Places’ funding has been secured and the project is co-ordinated by volunteers through Dunblane Development Trust.

People are invited to fill in the online User Survey, and contribute to the update of the Walking & Cycling Improvements report; which usefully highlights local issues.  ** Survey open untill December 18th **

Gas outage

Gas outage

Info from SGN:

Around 140 properties in the Blairforkie Drive area of Bridge of Allan are without gas after water entered our network.

Update:

Monday 7 Dec – 4.45pm

Our engineers have made tremendous progress since our last update and have begun restoring some gas supplies in Bridge of Allan.

After successfully repairing our gas main earlier, our teams have already extracted a large quantity of water from our network. This has meant we can start visiting parts of of the affected network to restore gas supplies and carry out safety checks. We still have more water to remove before we can start restoring all gas supplies.

We have extra coronavirus safety precautions in place to protect you and our colleagues as we work to turn supplies back on.

We’ll update this page again with more information at 7pm.
