I was given this book as a present and could not put it down. A fabulous, fascinating read. I live in Causewayhead and my walks to Bridge Of Allan take twice as long now as I go to places mentioned in the book to see them, and imagine what they were like as described by Craig.
Well done Craig and all those people who helped complete this book
I’m looking to get a copy of this book. My grandad sisters lived in cooneyhill Rd. And my great grandfather lived by Logie Church
Hi, I am wondering if copies of ‘Bridge of Allan – A History’ are still available?
I am a descendant of Dr John Stewart Rutherford who was born in Lecropt in 1808, and was a medical practitioner in Bridge of Allan until his death in 1849. His brother Charles Neil Rutherford was the pharmacist and post master there.
I would like to buy this book please. How do I do that. I went to school in Bridge of Allan from 1953 to 1966 and have happy memories of the village.
Thankyou
Are there any copies of the Craig Mair book still available?

Michael
